Built so agents can be trusted with more.
Our mission is to create a world in which people and companies can interact without friction or frustration. That's why every rul.ai agent pairs a neural layer for language with a symbolic layer for judgment.
From low-code conversational AI to a governed agent architecture.
Research foundations
Our founding researchers published some of the first work on neural networks for dialog systems, years before "conversational AI" was a category. That was followed by competition wins at the DARPA challenge (2004), the Netflix Prize (2006), ACM Multimedia (2016 to 2017), and, most recently, winner of the NeurIPS 2025 MMU-RAG Competition.
Founded, rooted in academia
Started by a founding team with a combined 200+ years of AI research experience, 400+ published papers and 80+ patents, built to bring that research into production conversational AI.
Deployed at enterprise scale
Went into production across contact centers, financial services, insurance, retail, healthcare and manufacturing, including TTEC, Sitel, Sanofi, Michelin, DHgate, Aon, CVS Health and Zenni.
Rearchitected around neural-symbolic control
Added a symbolic policy layer that governs every action the neural layer proposes, built for enterprise-level, omni-channel deployments.
Industry depth, paired with research depth.

Three ways to build with us.
Systems integrators, software vendors and referral partners all work with rul.ai today, with revenue share on what they bring in.
- System integrators: add conversational AI to your services practice and lead implementations for your own clients.
- Software vendors: embed rul.ai's agent runtime into your own product or platform.
- Referral & reseller: bring rul.ai to new and existing clients and earn revenue share on what you close.
